Hi there! I’m Jessica — the Crazy Keto Chick. Just a small town girl, living in a keto world. 💛 And yes, I mean that literally.
My Story
I’ve been a self-described chunky monkey most of my life. I lost a good chunk of weight back in my senior year of high school — mostly because I was working multiple jobs and running on fumes, not exactly a sustainable plan! And like so many of us know all too well, life happened and the weight came back.
I tried the gimmicks. Herbalife. Omninutrition. Beach Body. Metagenics. They’d work a little, but I was SO hungry all the time. That constant hunger is exhausting — physically and mentally. If you’ve been there, you know exactly what I mean.
Then my brother told me about keto. Not just the diet — the science behind it. Why it works. Why it’s different. And something clicked. I decided to give it a real shot.
The Photo That Changed Everything
In 2018, a family member snapped a photo of my husband and me. And when I saw it — really saw it — it hit me hard. Not because of how I looked, but because of how I felt. I wasn’t healthy. And I knew I needed to change that for me. (I am absolutely not here to fat-shame anyone — you do you, boo! 💛 This was simply my own moment of truth.)

Keto Changed My Life — For Real
I started my keto journey in June 2018. Since then, I’ve lost 70+ pounds — and more importantly, I feel amazing. My energy is steady. My cravings are quiet. My relationship with food is completely transformed. I’ve also started incorporating walking and yoga, but keto is the foundation that makes everything else possible.
The biggest thing I want you to know? Keto isn’t a diet I’m “on.” It’s how I eat. It’s my lifestyle. And I will never look back.

Why I Started This Blog
Once I started seeing real results, my friends on Facebook kept asking — “share the recipe!” and “what do you actually eat?” So I created Crazy Keto Chick as one place to answer all of those questions, share what’s working for me, and hopefully help more people feel better too.
Fair warning: I am gloriously lazy in the kitchen. 😄 Most of my recipes are simple, require minimal ingredients, and can be made by real humans with real lives. No culinary degree required. You’re welcome.
