May the 4th Keto Fat Bombs: 5 Star Wars Treats

May the 4th Be With You: Keto Fat Bombs From a Galaxy Far, Far Away 🚀

May the Fourth be with you — and may your macros be, too. 🚀 Whether you’re hosting a Star Wars marathon, celebrating with the galaxy’s biggest fans, or just looking for an excuse to make something fun and delicious — these keto fat bombs are themed, they’re easy, and they will absolutely not kick you out of ketosis. The Force is strong with these ones. 👇

Why Fat Bombs Are the Perfect Keto Treat

If you’re new to fat bombs — welcome to one of keto’s greatest inventions. Fat bombs are small, high-fat treats that deliver a satisfying hit of flavor, curb cravings, and support ketosis all at the same time. They’re typically made from a base of cream cheese, nut butter, coconut oil, or coconut cream — plus whatever mix-ins make them delicious — and chilled until firm. No baking required for most of them, minimal prep, and they keep beautifully in the freezer.

The healthy fats in fat bombs also support MCT oil’s role in ketone production — if you want to understand why fat is your friend on keto, my complete MCT oil guide is a great read alongside this one. 🥥

A Galaxy of Keto Fat Bombs 🚀⭐

💀 1. Dark Side Dark Chocolate Fat Bombs

“I find your lack of carbs disturbing.”

Rich, dark, and deeply satisfying — just like the Dark Side. These are the ultimate chocolate fat bomb and they couldn’t be simpler.

Makes: ~12 fat bombs  |  Net carbs: ~2g each  |  Prep time: 10 minutes + 1 hour chill

You’ll need:

Instructions: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in cocoa powder, melted coconut oil, sweetener, and vanilla until fully combined. Roll into 12 small balls, press a few Lily’s chocolate chips on top of each, and place on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for at least 1 hour before serving. Store in the freezer.

⚡ 2. Lightsaber Lemon Fat Bombs

Bright, bold, and ready for battle — choose your color with blue or yellow food coloring if you’re feeling extra.

Makes: ~12 fat bombs  |  Net carbs: ~1g each  |  Prep time: 10 minutes + 1 hour chill

You’ll need:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp erythritol
  • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut for rolling

Instructions: Beat cream cheese, coconut oil, lemon juice, zest, and erythritol together until smooth and fluffy. Roll into small balls and coat each one in shredded coconut. Chill for at least 1 hour. Bright, tart, and refreshing — the yellow lightsaber of fat bombs.

💚 3. Yoda’s Matcha Green Fat Bombs

“Much fat, there is in these. Strong with the Force, you will be.”

Makes: ~10 fat bombs  |  Net carbs: ~2g each  |  Prep time: 10 minutes + 1 hour chill

You’ll need:

Instructions: Whisk together coconut cream, almond butter, matcha, sweetener, and coconut oil until smooth. Pour into a silicone mold or mini cupcake tin lined with paper cases. Freeze for at least 1 hour. They come out a beautiful Yoda green — and they taste like a creamy, earthy, slightly sweet matcha latte in fat bomb form. Surprisingly addictive.

❄️ 4. Hoth Coconut Snowball Fat Bombs

Ice planet energy. Pure white. Dangerously good.

Makes: ~12 fat bombs  |  Net carbs: ~1g each  |  Prep time: 10 minutes + 1 hour chill

You’ll need:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp erythritol
  • ½ cup unsweetened shredded coconut for rolling
  • ¼ cup macadamia nuts, finely chopped (optional but highly recommended)

Instructions: Beat cream cheese, coconut oil, vanilla, and erythritol until smooth. Fold in chopped macadamia nuts if using. Roll into balls and coat generously in shredded coconut — they should look like little snowballs fresh from Hoth. Chill for 1 hour. Pure white, creamy, and coconutty. The crowd pleaser of the lineup.

🥎 5. Chewie’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cups

Big. Bold. A little rough around the edges. Absolutely irresistible. Just like Chewbacca.

Makes: ~10 cups  |  Net carbs: ~3g each  |  Prep time: 15 minutes + 1 hour chill

You’ll need:

Instructions: Line a mini muffin tin with paper cases. Melt chocolate chips with 1 tbsp coconut oil and spoon a thin layer into the bottom of each case. Freeze for 15 minutes to set. Mix peanut butter, remaining coconut oil, sweetener, and a pinch of salt. Spoon the peanut butter mixture over the set chocolate base. Top with another spoonful of melted chocolate. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Freeze for at least 1 hour. These are essentially keto Reese’s cups — and they are spectacular.

Make-Ahead Tips 🚀

Make them the night before. All of these fat bombs freeze beautifully and taste best straight from the freezer or after a few minutes at room temperature. Make them on May 3rd and you’ll have a fully stocked galaxy of treats ready for May the 4th with zero day-of stress.

Store in the freezer. Fat bombs keep in the freezer for up to 3 weeks in an airtight container. They’re also great to have on hand for any occasion — not just a Star Wars marathon. They’re in regular rotation in my house as a quick sweet fix that doesn’t derail anything.

Use silicone molds for easy release. If you have star or spaceship-shaped silicone molds, these fat bombs will look absolutely spectacular. Amazon has a huge selection and they’re inexpensive. Even plain round molds make them look more polished than hand-rolled balls.

All pantry staples sourced from your keto pantry. If you’ve built out your keto pantry with the staples from my keto pantry swaps guide, you likely already have most of these ingredients on hand. Cream cheese, coconut oil, nut butter, sweetener, and Lily’s or ChocZero chocolate chips are the building blocks of virtually every fat bomb recipe.

The Bottom Line

May the Fourth is a holiday that absolutely deserves a themed treat — and now it can have one without touching your macros. Pick one, pick all five, or make a whole tray of each and put together a fat bomb platter that will impress every person at your Star Wars watch party whether they’re keto or not.

May the fat be with you. Always. 🚀💛⭐
